The API establishes an online connection between MetroPlusHealth, and any application authorized by you, our member. MetroPlusHealth ensures that your information containing PHI is not only accessible but protected and secure under HIPAA when it is transmitted to the application of your choice. However, once this information is transmitted, it may not receive the same level of protection covered entities, like MetroPlusHealth, are required to maintain.

Disclosure of Information Collected through This Website
