As of February 15, the Think Cultural Health E-Learning module is no longer available for cultural competency training.

New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) is aware of this and is currently in the process of identifying other training that may meet this requirement.

In the meantime, MetroPlusHealth will not take any action against providers who have not completed the cultural competency training and providers do not need to attest.

Behavioral Health providers do have a secondary option which can be found here: State-Approved Curriculum for Cultural and Linguistic Competence.

Once we have updated guidance from NYSDOH, we will alert our provider network as soon as possible.
