FOR PROVIDERS WHO SERVE OUR MEDICAID AND HARP MEMBERS:

For most MetroPlus members, Medicaid eligibility is now determined through the NY State of Health (NYSoH). Previously, members used Local Department of Social Services (LDSS)/Human Resources Administration (HRA) to coordinate enrollment. Starting this year, HARP members, and Medicaid members who meet the Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) criteria (and are not otherwise excluded), will begin enrolling through the NYSoH. The major difference is that members must actively take steps to keep their enrollment. If these steps are not taken enrollment can be lost. There will be no changes to coverage, benefits, and services providing members take appropriate steps to maintain their enrollment. Please help your affected members through this transition.
