Where You Can Use Your Flex Card
You can use your card at over 3,500 retailers, including CVS, Duane Reade, and Rite Aid, as well as many popular local chains.

What Your Flex Card Covers
Your card provides $475 per quarter to spend on healthy food, OTC items, utilities, bathroom safety supplies, Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS). Please note, benefits do not roll over to the next quarter, and any unused balance will expire at the end of each quarter or if you disenroll from the plan.

The MetroPlusHealth Flex Rewards Card is exclusively available to MetroPlus Advantage Plan (HMO D-SNP) and MetroPlus UltraCare (HMO D-SNP) members. OTC (Over-the-Counter) items are products that you can buy without a prescription. These items include things like vitamins, pain relievers, allergy medications, first aid supplies, and other everyday health products. OTC items are available at pharmacies, grocery stores, and online, and they help manage minor health issues at home.

Healthy Foods

Healthy foods you can purchase with your OTC card include a variety of nutritious options to support your overall well-being. These include fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, dairy products, and healthy snacks like nuts and seeds. Using your OTC card for healthy food choices can help you maintain a balanced diet and improve your health. Look for these items at participating stores to get the most out of your benefits!

Utility Payments

With your Flex card benefits, you can use it to pay for essential utility services, including electric, gas, phone, internet, and more. Bathroom Safety Devices

With your OTC benefits, you can purchase bathroom safety devices that help make your bathroom safer and more comfortable.
