Renewal Information

Renewing your MetroPlusHealth plan is quick, easy, and ensures you maintain continuous coverage without interruption. Our Renewal Information page provides everything you need to know to complete your renewal on time, including important deadlines, step-by-step instructions, and assistance options. Whether you’re renewing your Marketplace, Medicaid, or Medicare plan, MetroPlusHealth is here to guide you through the process and keep your health coverage active.

If you are a Medicaid, Child Health Plus (CHP), Essential Plan (EP) or Qualified Health Plan (QHP) member and have enrolled using the NY State of Health website, you will receive a letter and an email (if you provided an email address) letting you know when and how to renew your coverage.

And remember: You should never be charged a fee to renew your coverage in Medicaid, Child Health Plus, or the Essential Plan. For Medicaid members who have enrolled through HRA:

If your Medicaid Coverage is through New York City HRA, you will be receiving a package containing renewal paperwork that needs to be completed and returned to them by the “Respond By” date. Contact us at 1.212.908.3300 for help and information.

For Medicaid, Child Health Plus (CHP), Essential Plan (EP) and Marketplace (QHP) members who have enrolled through the NY State of Health Marketplace:

If you enrolled via the NY State of Health Marketplace for any of the plans listed above, you will be receiving a letter from the NY State of Health explaining the next steps for renewing your coverage.
