Member Notice Regarding COVID-19 Services
After May 11, 2023

QUALIFIED HEALTH PLANS, GOLD, AND GOLDCARE MEMBERS:

As you may know, the federal COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) is coming to an end May 11 and with it some changes may apply to your COVID-19-related coverage:

• Vaccines:  You will continue to have access to COVID-19 vaccination at no-cost sharing when provided by a MetroPlusHealth Participating Provider.

• Treatments:  You will continue to be covered for COVID-19 treatments, although cost-sharing may vary. There will be no changes to your coverage of COVID-19 treatments at this time or after May 11. Oral antivirals will continue to be available to you at no cost.

• Testing:  You will continue to be covered for COVID-19 diagnostic testing provided by a MetroPlusHealth Participating Provider. Note, you will also continue to have access to 2 free over-the-counter test kits per month.

ESSENTIAL PLAN, MEDICAID, ENHANCED (HARP), PARTNERSHIP IN CARE (SNP), AND CHILD HEALTH PLUS (CHP) MEMBERS:

The end of the Public Health Emergency on May 11th will not affect any of your coverage for COVID-19 related services. You will continue to have access to COVID-19 testing, treatment and vaccination when those services are provided by a MetroPlusHealth Participating Provider.

MEDICARE ADVANTAGE AND PLATINUM AND ULTRACARE (MAP) MEMBERS:

• Vaccines:  You will continue to have access to COVID-19 vaccination at no-cost sharing when services are provided by a MetroPlusHealth Participating Provider.

• Treatments:  You will continue to have coverage of COVID-19 treatments, although cost-sharing may vary. There will be no changes to your coverage of COVID-19 treatments at this time or after May 11. Oral antivirals will continue to be available to you at no cost.

• Testing:  You will continue to have coverage of COVID-19 diagnostic testing when provided by a MetroPlusHeath Participating Provider. Note, you will also continue to have access to 2 free over-the-counter test kits per month through your OTC (Over-the-Counter) benefit.
