Expansion of the Essential Plan
We have important information about the expanded Essential Plan in New York for your constituents!
Starting April 1, coverage is extended to New Yorkers with incomes up to 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). At MetroPlus we are excited to continue providing high-quality affordable healthcare to more New Yorkers.
By extending coverage, an additional 100,000 New Yorkers – many of which are your constituents – will have access to high-quality, affordable health insurance. The fact that it comes with a zero-cost monthly premium is truly commendable.
