Will My Health Insurance Help Pay For Gym Membership?

Absolutely! Going to the gym should be a part of a healthy routine, which is why the gym reimbursement program is part of several MetroPlusHealth plans. These fitness benefits support MetroPlusHealth Members, their spouses, and dependents.

Whether your insurance plan will cover the full cost of a gym membership depends on the overall cost. Regardless, MetroPlusHealth offers competitive reimbursements to support your healthy habits and ease that burden.

What Plans Offer Gym Membership Benefits?

Gold Plan members can receive up to $1,400 per year in gym reimbursements for themselves and their family. The primary member and their spouse can receive up to $250 in reimbursements every six months. Up to two other dependents can be reimbursed $100 every six months.
