Effective immediately, MetroPlusHealth will cover Point of Care (POC) Syphilis Testing to ensure equitable access and screening to help reduce new cases.
Claims should be submitted using CPT code “86780”, when performed in a private office setting (place of service-POS 11), by a:
- Physician
- Nurse Practitioner
- Licensed Midwife
