URGENT MESSAGE FOR YOUR PATIENTS AND THEIR PAID CAREGIVERS
REGARDING CDPAP CHANGE
Your patients who participate in the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP), and/or their personal assistant(s), must take IMMEDIATE ACTION regarding their CDPAP services.
The Department of Health has partnered with Public Partnerships LLC (PPL) as the single Statewide Fiscal Intermediary (SFI) for CDPAP. All Consumers and personal assistants in the CDPAP must change to PPL now. Your patient’s personal assistant (caregiver) will not get paid to take care of them for the month of April and beyond unless both patient and caregiver register with PPL now.
Please let your patients who are participating in CDPAP know that they and their caregiver must register with PPL NOW to ensure their caregiver is paid for the month of April and beyond for providing CDPAP services.
They can register by calling PPL at 833.247.5346 or through PPL@Home by visiting pplfirst.com/cdpap, They can also work with PPL or another approved CDPAP facilitator, including Independent Living Centers (ILCs), who can guide them through the process. A list of Department-approved CDPAP facilitators can be found here: CDPAP Facilitators | PPL First.
If your patient and their caregiver need help registering, they can find our community offices and concierge locations here for help registering in person!
Thank you for helping educate our members about this important change to their CDPAP services.
